Reset links for your account password are deliberately fragile: single-use, short-lived, and tied to the browser that requested them. If yours says it can no longer be used, it’s one of these:
- It was already used — even a preview or a second click can consume it.
- It expired — they only live a short time after being sent.
- It opened in a different browser than the one you requested it from — common when you request on your laptop but tap the email on your phone.
Get one that works
- Request a fresh link from the “Forgot password?” page.
- Open your email on the same device, in the same browser you just used.
- Click the link once, promptly, and set your new password.
Remember this flow only resets your account password — the one that signs you in. Your vault password is a separate key with a separate reset path; if that’s the one you’ve lost, see I forgot my vault password.
