How do I cancel my subscription?

Cancel any time from Account Settings → Manage Subscription — it opens Stripe’s billing portal, no email required, no retention call, no hoops.

What happens when you cancel

• You keep full access through the end of the period you’ve paid for. Cancel in month two of an annual plan and the vault works for the remaining ten months.
• After that, your data is retained for 90 days. Your vault stays encrypted and stored — resubscribe within that window and full access is restored exactly as you left it.
• After 90 days, your encrypted vault data is permanently deleted. We send a reminder before deletion happens.

Two honest notes

First: deletion is real deletion. Once the 90-day window closes and the data is purged, there is nothing to restore — for you or for us.

Second: NestVault doesn’t have a one-click export yet. If you’re leaving, the practical move during your remaining access is to download your attached documents and copy out anything critical before the window closes. We’d rather tell you that plainly than have you discover it on day 91.
